Due Diligence
Venture Capital firms risk substantial amounts of money when they invest in IPOs or expanding business entities. Consequently VC firms require an extensive amount of information when deciding to make an investment. Depending on the type of business and other market factors VC investors may require additional information. While this process may seem invasive to business entities, which often bear the expense of providing the information, the ability to obtain financing which would otherwise be unattainable more than compensates for any inconvenience.
